A declaration written by and for the next generation
Earlier this year, Made By Us brought together dozens of young adults from across the country at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia for Youth250: Our Declaration.
There, participants drafted and signed a youth-written declaration that names their hopes, commitments, and vision for the nation's next 250 years. Letters to America, performed on stage, sent out a national call for more voices from the next generation.
This summer, the Youth250 Declaration hits the road traveling to cultural institutions across the U.S. during its 250th anniversary. At every stop, it carries the same invitation:
>> What kind of country can we build together?
