What's This All About?
We know you probably haven’t heard much about the US turning 250 years old in 2026.
But this milestone? It’s not just about fireworks and founding fathers.
It’s a chance to ask:
Who gets to shape the story of America? And what do we want the next chapter to look like?
Youth250 is how we make it count. It’s a national movement to put your voice, vision, and values at the center of the Semiquincentennial (tough word, we know).

Content Corps
We’re flooding the zone — with your voice.
As we approach the 250th anniversary of the United States, we’re building a wave of Gen Z stories, perspectives, and creativity to shape what this moment actually looks and feels like.
We’re building on the Youth250 Bureau, and inviting your voices to the narrative.
What is the Content Corps?
A volunteer community of 14–30-year-olds writing, speaking, and creating content that tells the story of our generation. Think:
Op-eds
Video responses & vlogs
Oral histories & interviews
Polls, memes, trends, TikToks
Our upcoming Substack
Museums tours + “what they didn’t teach us in school”
Your ideas. Your channels. Your voice.
This is your chance to help shape a living time capsule — a snapshot of what it’s like to be Gen Z at the 250th.
About the role
You’ll join a 1-hour orientation Zoom (we’ll offer multiple options later this summer)

This is a volunteer role, but sometimes we’ll have paid gigs (e.g., panels, advisory councils) when our partner orgs need Gen Z insight
