The United States will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. We believe the 250th commemoration can serve as a catalyst for empowering the founders of the next chapter of U.S. history – Gen Z.
We’ve traveled across the country listening to Gen Z and civic leaders and found a solution: the Youth 250 National Bureau, Toolkit and Docu-Series uplifting youth experiences and input at this moment.
The U.S. has a gap in representation and mutual understanding, where young adults are not involved in decision-making yet have the most at stake from our future. This is on display at a pivotal moment: how and what we will celebrate at the nation's 250th. Many institutions are looking for resources to close the youth gap, but are strained by capacity, skills and access.
